Three Days in One Post

Good evening everyone.

The last couple of days have been kind of busy. I guess you could say busy anyway. Mostly just school and homework. Not too much work though. Today is my first day back to work since Sunday. With that being said, I am now rather bored and thus blogging. How about we get into the checklist:

Thermodynamics- Not too much has been happening here. I need to do some brush up studying for next week, because we have two assignments due, plus a quiz.

Theoretical Electromagnetism- We are now on electromagnetic waves instead of electrostatics. Believe it or not, I feel more comfortable with this material, and the rest of the semester should be ok.

Quantum Mechanics and Relativity- this class is going well, and when not being shoved down my throat I actually enjoy it. Other than the fact that I slept through my alarm this morning and almost missed turning in my assignment on time.

Other things are going well. Nick has been at the Vet’s office for the past couple of days. Apparently there was a low amount of platelets in his blood. So that means that the waiterlets had dropped a big stack of platelets on the floorlet. The new shipment of platelets has arrived, so the blood cells of red and white are dining happily.

I went to dinner at From Russia with Love’s grandmother’s house again. That is always a nice time, although I never am able to follow the conversation, being in Russian and all. She sends me home with all sorts of tasty goodies every time. The loot this time around was: Apple Pie, another Apple Thingy (Fritter?), and some Strawberry and Misc. Other Berry Jam. Very tasty.

And last but not least, a Movie Review. I know it has been a while, but I haven’t had a chance to watch movies lately. Any way, here is my rundown of Eastern Promises:

Eastern Promises- This movie I had high hopes for. The reason for that was simply a word-of-mouth kind of thing. It was a good movie, just not as much action and killing and violence that I had hoped for. The basic plot: a midwife delivers a child from a prostitute, who dies during the birth. The midwife investigates where this prostitute was from via her diary. This sends her neck deep in the Russian Mafia and all sorts of trouble. The movie I thought was very well acted, especially by Viggo Mortensen. The only cons to this movie were, like I said before, a serious lack of action and Viggo Mortensen’s junk. Yes, you heard me… his junk. There is an attack scene in a shower, and more than knives are swinging in your face. But over all, I would say, two and a half stars. Good, but not great.
