After about 4 or 5 hours of sleep and a busy morning loading a rental truck to clean out some stuff we have- I now sit here at work blogging. My point is that I really can't think of anything witty or funny to write, so I will save that for later : (insert witty remark here).
Mostly there is nothing new to update. Bad time to start a blog I suppose. Right when I start my semester of school and all the fun vacations and careless good times of summer vacation have retreated into good memories and journals.
Now its mostly just taking time to get my school and work schedules to jive in an acceptable manner.
I wont bore you with the details on that (I won't even bore myself with typing the details, so if you were genuinely curios: you may be in need of a hobby)
The only thing I guess I really want to talk about now is an interesting news tid-bit and a new movie.
1. The news tid-bit:
First of all iIam not one for Cryptozoology or other similar time wastings. But this is cool story from Yahoo news: A woman in Texas has found what she believes to be the head of a chupacabra (the chupacabra is a maybe previously thought mythical creature that feeds on livestock like a vampire). The entire body was found, and fits most of the descriptions that the rumors and superstitions have in common. For example: greenish blue skin and the right size (it was also decomposing for a while) and apperently it drank blood. Take everything with a grain of salt. There was a Vet that examined the body and said that to him it seems more like a K9 mut of some sort. I personally think this is correct (by merit of the picture alone). Some times the truth is stranger that fiction, other times not. The picture is what she found. You can also check out the whole story here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070901/ap_on_fe_st/mythical_chupacabra;_ylt=At8a9KWoL6fBnZt9.kQjU.ms0NUE
2. The movie I'm interested in:
Halloween. I love campy horror and slasher movies. And I am a fan of Rob Zombie. So Rob Zombie making a horror movie=good potential. I am pretty excited about that. let's hope its good and gory. Rob's solo albums have been nothing but Evil Dead to music so he definetly knows the genre. With of course the exception of Educated horses. Still a good album though.
More notes on this blog: I intend to put up some detail postings on my classes. Why you may ask? Weren't you concerned about boring us earlier? And my reply: it is interesting to me. And who knows, you may get a kick out of it and become interested your self, or at least gain a little "gee, i didn't know that- huh..." for the day. I love it when I get those.
